Port Covington was in full swing for the final weekend in June! Despite the heat, we hosted three remarkable events at The Field. Thursday evening was FLOW Yoga, powered by FXWell. Over 100 attendees came to stretch out the stress of the week with The Baltimore Sun’s Best of Baltimore’s Fitness Trainer, Marissa Walch. After the 75-minute class, participants were treated to a happy hour with music from DJ WHO.
Activities continued on Friday with Weller Entertainment’s pet-friendly Dog Days of Summer Happy Hour. Locals and their pets cooled off with dog-friendly popsicles provided by local business Charm City Pops.
As if these two events were not enough to close out the month of June, The Night Brunch made its first appearance in Port Covington on Saturday night at The Field. Sponsored by Weller Entertainment and Effin Vodka, this event drew approximately 1,400 guests. DJ Impulse spun throwback tunes while guests enjoyed a special menu from traveling chef Pat Morrow. His open-air grill and Southeast Asian styled food did not disappoint.
“As an early-adopter and true believer in Port Covington, I am proud to not only have experienced the opportunity to build Treason Toting Company at City Garage, but now to introduce others to Port Covington by bringing The Night Brunch to The Field,” said Jason Bass, co-founder of The Night Brunch and CEO of Treason Toting Company. “We’re thankful for Weller Entertainment and all of our partners for supporting cultural events in Baltimore City.”
The three events are just a preview of what is to come in Port Covington. Be sure to follow Weller Entertainment (ThePort.PortCovington) and Port Covington on Instagram and Facebook to stay up to date with all things happening in Port Covington.
