In November, a group of students from Arundel Elementary Middle School visited the Bustin Boards headquarters at City Garage in Port Covington as part of an incentive program rewarding South Baltimore students for good behavior and consistent attendance at school.
This month, in the spirit of giving, the team at Bustin Boards met with the selected group of students again to reward them for perfect attendance with brand new skateboards of their own. Bustin Boards donated 15 skateboards through their Holiday 1-for-1 Donation Campaign to the students that participated in the attendance incentive last month.
Josh Dunn, Project Leader of Bustin Boards’ “For All Who Push” program said, “We believe skateboarding is a gift and wonderful tool that can help a lot of people, and we’re hoping to spread that joy and give boards to the young adults that maybe can’t afford it but could really benefit from it. We’re hoping to get involved with even more people and more schools in the future.”
