Weller Development Company and the Port Covington Development team hosted the inaugural Oysters and Crabs with Cal fundraiser at Nick’s Fish House, raising nearly $200,000 in a single evening. The event included live music, a whiskey tasting, a Q&A with Cal Ripken, Jr. and of course, Nick’s Fish House’s famous oysters and crabs. All event proceeds support development, construction and programming at Reedbird Park in South Baltimore’s Cherry Hill neighborhood. The mission of the Cal Ripken Sr. Foundation is to help to build character and teach critical life lessons to at-risk young people living across the country.
