Renalert, a City Garage tenant and that develops medical devices and software to prevent kidney injury, was chosen as the $25,000 grand prize winner of the live pitch competition at the fifth annual Beta City. Renalert’s CEO Aaron Chang, said his company will use the Beta City funding to help push its first medical device to market, targeting the first quarter of 2020.
